ぼくはウサギどろぼう。
この木になるウサギをぬすみにきました。

ウサギをもぎとったしゅんかんに、ウサギはあしをばたばたさせ、せいきをとりもどし、ビヨーンととびはねます。
ぼくは、そのしゅんかんがたまらなくすきなのです。

ウサギがなるかぎり、ぼくはウサギどろぼうをつづけます。

なんでいるのかきいてみたら、きょうはとってもあたたかいひだから、そとにでるのがいやになったんだって。
そして、ふくろにはいって、うさぎのうえでねむりたくなったんだって。
ぼくはうさぎだから、あー、えらばれたんだな。とおもいました。
